Medicare and PPO patients:
At the time of the visit, one of our Physicians or Physician Assistant can evaluate the patient and make an intelligent decision of patient’s treatment and document notes properly to be sent to the referring provider. Notes then will be sent to the referring provider with the patient’s demographics. After the patient has seen the referring provider a follow-up appointment will be made with one of our Physicians or PA’s to update the patient’s chart.
Time frame 24hrs – 48hrs that notes can be delivered to the referring provider.
HMO patients:
At the time of visit, The Physician Assistant can evaluate the patient and make an intelligent decision of the patient’s treatment and document notes properly to be sent to the referring provider. Notes then will be sent to the insurance company for authorization then once approved will be sent to the referring provider with the patient’s demographics. After the patient has seen the referring provider a follow-up appointment will be made with the Physician Assistant to update the patient’s chart.
Time frame 7 – 10 days that notes can be delivered to the referring provider. (Unless marked urgent or stat)
